Get the Most Out of Your X-Plane Demo

We want you to fall in love with X-Plane. To help, we’d like to offer you a free one-month email course on getting the most out of the simulator. In this course, we’ll tell you how you can:

  • get the demo up & running pronto,
  • add new aircraft to X-Plane for free,
  • shoot approaches to your favorite runways,
  • test your mettle in emergency situations with failed equipment,
  • customize your own airports and aircraft for free, and more!

You’ll also receive our “tips & tricks” newsletter about once a month, jam packed with X-Plane news, add-ons, & more.

Plus, we’ll send you 5 free aircraft models right now!

We promise to never spam you, and we will never sell or share your email address. Your email address will only be used to send you X-Plane-related emails. (See our privacy policy for more info.) If you ever change your mind, you can unsubscribe at any time.

Once again, this course on getting the most out of your flight simulator has no strings attached and is completely free.

Don’t want email? No problem. You can read the emails we send in the course here.

What to do when the download is complete

  1. When your download finishes, open the “X-Plane11InstallerPlatform.zip” (where Platform might be Windows, Mac, or Linux).
  2. Inside “X-Plane11InstallerPlatform.zip”, double-click on the X-Plane Installer.
  3. At this point, the installer will then guide you through the (approximately 8.5 GB) download. Note that, by default, it will create a folder called “X-Plane 11” on your Desktop.
  4. To launch X-Plane after the installer finishes, just double-click the X-Plane 11 application in the “X-Plane 11” folder.
